Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney was born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin, is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist and philanthropist. When she graduated from Oxford University School of Law she embarked on an extensive and successful profession in the field of human rights as well as international law. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight for recognition of Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney was engaged and later was married with American actor George Clooney, instantly making her famous within pop culture. Years earlier, Amal Clooney was known for successfully representing her clients before courts and had a good reputation. In the past, she has dealt with human and social rights and representing multinational corporations in court cases as well as negotiations regarding the regulations of government. She is now a barrister which is a kind of lawyer in British court.
