Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks is an American actor who is most well-known for her performance as Joan Holloway in the seven seasons of AMC's period drama series Mad Men (2007-2015). The role she played in Mad Men that earned Christina Hendricks six Emmy Awards in the category of Best Supporting Actress. In the course of her 20-year career she also gained recognition for her part in the comedy drama Another Period, a crime drama titled Tin Star. Films in which she has been praised for her performance as a character in Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River The Neon Demon The Strangers: Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Her voice can also be heard in the animated movies From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 & Scoob! The career she began with was modeling and continued throughout her career until she made her debut as an actor on TV in Undressed which was a 1999 TV show. Her first big role was in the drama comedy series Beggars and Choosers following which she also received appreciation for her role in the hit show Firefly. Esquire Magazine voted her the most gorgeous woman in America as well as the attractive woman in the world in the year 2010.
